Join our clinical research study comparing three different inhalers (a triple therapy, a dual therapy, and placebo) to evaluate their effects on breathing during exercise and overall exercise ability in people with COPD, while monitoring for side effects.
Answer a few simple questions to see if you qualify for the study.
Have you been diagnosed with COPD for at least 12 months?
Your information is secure and will only be used to determine study eligibility.

Potentially help other people with COPD in the future.
This study compares three different inhalers (a triple therapy, a dual therapy, and a placebo) to see how they affect breathing and exercise ability in people with COPD who experience breathlessness. It evaluates if an inhaled triple therapy (BGF MDI) is more effective than dual therapy (BFF MDI) or placebo.
Many people with COPD experience breathlessness during activity, partly due to air trapping (dynamic hyperinflation). This study tests whether an inhaled triple therapy (Budesonide/Glycopyrronium/Formoterol Fumarate MDI) can improve breathing during exercise (inspiratory capacity) and allow participants to exercise longer compared to an inhaled dual therapy (Budesonide/Formoterol Fumarate MDI) or a placebo MDI. The study evaluates if delivering these medications directly to the lungs reduces hyperinflation and improves exercise tolerance.
Participation involves a screening period, several treatment periods, and lasts approximately 14 weeks in total. This includes about 8 visits to the clinic and 1 follow-up phone call.
The study is being conducted at Access Research Institute, located at 11373 Cortez Blvd Building C, Suite 200, Brooksville, FL 34613.
